ANDER PERRINO, doublebass

Born in Vitoria-Gasteiz in 1986, Ander Perrino is one of the most interesting bass players of his generation. After graduating with honors from the HfM “Hanns Eisler” Berlin in 2011, Perrino played a few years with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. In 2013 he became a member of the Mahler Chamber Orchestra and since 2014 Ander Perrino is the Principal Double Bass player of the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin.

Based in Berlin, Ander Perrino is often invited as a guest principal double bass

player by the best orchestras in Europe. As an active soloist an chamber musician, Perrino has taken part in many international music festivals in Europe. He is involved in different projects including teaching, arranging and performing. Former member of the tango Trio CAYAO, Ander Perrino is an enthusiastic tango performer.

Together with his wife, the musician and artistic director Maria Lindo, they created in 2018 the Linien Ensemble. An ensemble that combines different types of art, creating a new concept of performing.
